General
The driver is authorised by us to stop the vehicle and ask any passengers to get off, if in their opinion, they act contrary to our conditions of their booking in any way. The passengers must not interfere with, encourage or harass the driver into breaking the law or any of these conditions.

V8 Trike Tours hold no responsibility for delays caused by unexpected circumstances beyond our control, such as weather or traffic delays. In case of a breakdown, V8 Trike Tours will send a backup replacement vehicle(s), refund part of all of the tour and provide the client with a complimentary voucher valued for the same hire to be used at their discretion.

The wearing of seatbelts is compulsory. All of our vehicles are fitted with seatbelts, and it is the responsibility of the passengers to use them. Failure to comply will result in the ride being cancelled and no refund or credit will be given.

The driver will use his/her judgment to drive at reasonable speeds in relation to the prevailing road, traffic and weather conditions. Our vehicles are only insured for our drivers. No other person may drive the vehicles under any circumstances. The driver has the last word on the route and timings undertaken in accordance with road, traffic and weather conditions. Please note, as a rule, we do not operate in the rain. Full refunds will be given for cancellations due to weather. Rides can be postponed until a later date or refunded in full.

V8 Trike Tours reserves the right to decline taking passengers who are too intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. This will be at the driver's discretion, and no refund or credit will be given.

Deposits and Payments
2.5% surcharge will be added to credit card payments.

Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your tour, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to give sufficient notice will result in the loss of your deposit and/or full payment being taken.

Tours cancelled because of cruise ships being unable to dock in Tauranga will be given full refunds.

No shows – will forfeit all money paid.

V8 Trike Tours reserves the right to cancel any booking prior to departure, in which payment will be refunded in full without further obligation on the part of V8 Trike Tours.

The undersigned understands the requirements and conditions and is aware that the ride involves the risk of personal injury and damage or loss of property. The undersigned voluntarily accepts all risks of personal injury and property damage arising from participation on the ride.

It is agreed and understood that the owners, operators and agents of this tour, including V8 Trike Tours are not the guardians of any customer's safety, and they, individually or collectively, cannot be held liable in any way for any occurrence in connection with the operation or the client's participation in connection with the tour, which might result in injury, death or other damage to the client, his property or his family, heirs or assigns.

This exclusion is subject to any rights or remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
